Jewish Tours

In recent years Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah trips to Israel have become extremely popular. It is very common for parents and kids often accompanied by grandparents to travel to Israel and have a Bar Mitzvah ceremony at the Kotel (the Wailing Wall) or Masada. As part of the trip families often include a comprehensive tour of Israel, bonding the different generations together around traditions and the connection to Israel.

This is the tour of a lifetime and it requires adequate preparation and planning.

For starters, you will need to prepare for the service under the guidance of your local rabbi. Before travel to Israel we can decide together on the Bar Mitzvah ceremony location. The Kotel (the Wailing Wall) is extremely popular with Israeli families and Jews from all over the world. Some might choose the main section of the Kotel (men and women are in separate sections, no Bat Mitzvah's take place here). Others might prefer the whole family to celebrate together and a full Bat Mitzvah reading. This is possible at the adjacent section known as Robinson's Arch.

Before and after the ceremony there is plenty of time for a touring itinerary to include a thorough exploration of Jerusalem, Masada and the Dead Sea, Tzfat the Galilee and Golan Heights and much more as time permits.
